Member cards for special events

A few weeks ago Ultimate Luxury Events came to us with the idea of creating 3 different membership cards. They wanted to create 3 membership levels: Premium, VIP and Tourist.
We created a design that fit the Ultimate Luxury concept and was easy to distinguish the different member levels. The card was left with a space for the cardholder’s name and expiration date so they can personalize it with an easy to use small desktop plastic card printer that they purchased from Sunshine-Card.


The back of the card was set up to have a magnetic strip and a signature panel for extra security.

Event identification cards

Once again our friends from TAP League order some new plastic cards. They decided to provide their members with an event identification card. We provide them a card with enough blank space in the front so they could later print on the member’s name right on the spot.



They were also pretty crafty by adding their sponsors name and discount on the back as a way to advertise their sponsor.

A special gift for your customers!

As we have mentioned before – keeping your current customers happy is more profitable than searching for new ones, but as always there are some exceptions to this rule. Take a local flower shop located in South Florida who used gift cards as a method to gain new customers.

For a month this flower shop decided to send $5 gift cards to all orders being delivered. The people receiving this order were not only surprised with a beautiful flower arrangement but also a gift card for the shop. The response to this promotion was great. About 80% called back and ordered arrangements with their gift card. This flower shop now continues this promotion all throughout holidays such as Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day which are big days for the flower industry.

The great thing about this promotion is that there is no major loss. If the gift card is never used then you do not lose that money. Also it is likely that the recipient will keep the card even if they are not planning on using it right away. That means that they will have this card and probably hand it down to someone that will actually use it.

Yacht Club Membership Cards

This week we prepared some plastic membership cards for the Halifax River Yacht Club. They decided that a card like this will be a great method of making their Yacht Club goers to feel important and a method of advertising. With members having a card in their wallet or purse it is likely for other individuals to see it and become interested.

The card was printed without any of the personal information so they can personalize it by using a desktop card printer – this way they can almost instantly give their new members a card with their membership information.

Membership Cards for the SoCal Gladiators

This week we did a job for the South California Gladiators. They were in need of a plastic membership card for fans that purchased a season ticket. The card is pretty simple with their logo on the front and a space for embossing the membership number. On the back they decided to add the season schedule so fans can be aware when the games are coming up. A signature panel was added to the back of the card so members can sign their card.

A couple weeks back we discussed the benefits of having a loyalty program and how it can help you keep the customers you already have. Today I will go a bit more into depth on the benefits of loyalty programs at a grocery store.

Insurance Card Personalization

Many times we come across customers who are interested in creating a card that they can later personalized with their customers name, account number or other information. That was the issue a couple of weeks ago when Fidens needed insurance cards. They needed for us to provide them with a simple solution so they could finish personalizing their insurance cards in-house.

The cards artwork was laid out to allow for easy personalization that way they could easily print the additional information on the insurance card. We then provided them with a simple desktop printer that allows them to personalize the card quick and easy and at a low cost.

More than just a membership card

Once again the lovely folks at the TAP League have ordered some fun membership cards. Not only are they a membership card – the plastic card also functions as a luggage tag! It is a 2-in-1 deal.




The back part of their plastic membership card is printed on a matte card to allow members to fill out the space available with the name and membership information.


And the best part is the side hole that allows members to use their membership card as a tag for their luggage and other belongings. It’s a great way for TAP members to always keep this organization in mind and also works as a great advertisement! Where ever this card is hanging from others will see it and become familiar with it.

Plastic Card Benefits – Part 2

We are in week 2 of our “Plastic Card Benefits” list. As promised last week, today we will talk about an important benefit that is offered by plastic cards. In business the rule always is that 80% of your business will come from 20% of your customers. Trying to bring in customers is a good strategy for your business – but taking care of that 20% that frequently goes to your business for your product or service is even more important.
